Our Technology Centre is located on the
main campus of Royal Holloway University
of London, and is a acknowledged centre
of excellence in Backup & Archive
technology.
Thinking SAFE has been developing quality
software for over 8 years, and specializes
exclusively in backup and archive technologies.
Thinking SAFE operates a virtual Network
Operating Centre that allows service monitoring
from seven locations, for maximum resilience
and flexibility. It has two critical functions:
- Routine Monitoring
- Disaster Recovery Management
The routine monitoring ensures that your
backup and archive policies are being
enforced correctly 24x7, so that your
critical business information will always
be available even in the most extreme
of disaster scenarios. Routine monitoring
also covers all three secure data centres
and the backup appliances on customer
premises, plus the communication networks
that connect them.
Our disaster recovery management ensures
that your critical business systems can
be brought online following any disaster
and that the process of commissioning
emergency facilities is clearly coordinated
and efficiently expedited. Our disaster
recovery team has experience working with
customer staff and their equipment &
service providers during some of the most
extreme disaster scenarios, and work quietly
in the background rebuilding, communicating,
and assisting in any capacity to get the
customers business functioning as rapidly
as possible.
